K. L. Jacobs

The eldest of four children, I have spent the last 25 years working (and living) with young children. Spending over a year as an Australian Nanny working in the USA - St. Louis, MO and Chicago, IL, I returned to Australia to run my own home-based Family Daycare before getting married and having four children of my own - two sons and two daughters.  Now they have all grown into amazing, independent people leaving me with more time to write, study and create children's books.

Currently working towards my Bachelor of Arts (Creative Writing and Public Relations), my passion is also writing Screenplays and Novels in a variety of genres. 

 

When I'm not writing or studying my craft, you will find me wandering through flea markets hunting for Antique and Vintage treasures, perhaps distracted in a bookshop, painting in my studio or spending time with my husband in a café, daydreaming with a Mocha and something sweet chosen from a glass cabinet.
